What Is The ItzBoosted.net Awards System?

The awards system is, as some would say, a posting incentive. It's a way of rewarding members for making contributions. Throughout this thread, you'll learn everything there is to know about awards and how to achieve each individual award.

Who Can Give Awards?

Awards can only be given out by members in the administrators usergroup (Adam & MMMMBoost).

What Are Awards?

Awards are displayed in the 'postbit' which is shown below. They're a little icon that is shown whenever you make a post. They're also viewable via the user's profile.

What Awards Are Available?

You can visit the ItzBoosted.net Awards Page Here page to find out the current available awards. Occasionally, new awards are added to the list and become available for members to acquire.

This section of the guide will explain each award and it'll go over the various ways of achieving each award and a description of the award and what it means.

• Diamond
  • A valued member of our community
    • This award is given to people who have proven themselves over a long period of time, to be truly high quality members. This award is, possibly, the most sought-after because, generally, the members who achieve the award are of such a high standard. Basically, if you can get this award, you're a god of ItzBoosted.net.
      • You can achieve this award by dedicating yourself to ItzBoosted.net. Being a long-term member who does a lot for others is always going to help. Do a variety of helpful and useful things for others. Be a high quality member. By that, I mean actually contribute to the boards with original and helpful content.
• Member of the Month
  • This is a monthly award for the best member.
    • Currently, this competition is closed, and so the award is really quite difficult to achieve.
      • As of now, you can't really achieve this award. But who am I to say this, awards can be given out for many different reasons.
• Drunk
  • For the proven inebriated ones.
    • This award is given to members who have been, quite literally, proven to be regular drunks. Well, that's not entirely true.
• Genius
  • If you just have too much knowledge.
    • This award is given to the highly intellectual members of ItzBoosted.net. Those who post intelligently and have proven themselves to be 'smart' can receive this award.
      • You can achieve this award by, firstly, not posting dumb or stupid comments and remarks. Make an attempt to use a wide range of vocabulary and big words. Also, if you happen to have an extensive knowledge of Molecular Genotyping in Transfusion Medicine, you might just be able to convince everyone that you're worthy of this award!
• The Protector
  • Report a lot of spam and bad posts and protect IBN to achieve this.
    • This award is given to members who have helped keep ItzBoosted.net a safe and happy place for everyone. People who report posts and help secure the site from vulnerabilities will often achieve this award.
      • You can achieve this award by compiling a number of quality reported posts, which can be viewed on your user profile. I believe also helping out IBN by reporting site-based issues directly to the administrators is another useful method of achieving this award.
• Asswipe
  • Everyone just hates you.
    • Once again, this one's self explanatory.
      • Get everyone to think poorly of you to achieve this. Act like a douche-bag and you're well on your way to achieving this!
• Flamer
  • You Enjoy ripping others a new one.
    • This one's for the Lounge Whores/Trolls, basically. Those who have a way with words and are able to mentally demoralize someone to the point of self consumption will achieve this.
      • You can get this one by being ruthless in the Lounge and 'flaming' people. I'd suggest not outright flaming through the use of cussing, but through cleaver and cunning figures of speech. Getting out of control here will get you a warning!
• Ninja
  • You walk in...do your business..and walk out. It's about stealth.
    • Members who have the ability to lurk beneath the shadows and then change the whole dynamics of a thread are worthy for this one.
      • This can be achieved by making short and concise (to-the-point) posts. If you have an unyielding knowledge of a particular object of discussion and are able to dive into a thread and see the problem/purpose solved in a solid one-liner, you're definitely ninja-like.
• Asskisser
  • Do I need to explain this one?
    • I'll explain it for you. This one goes to the members who suck-up to other members or members in a higher place of authority than themselves. Often, a member who kisses in and around the vicinity of a staff member's gluteus region will be noted as an asskisser.
      • If you subtly ask for reputation or suck-up to a member for whatever rewards you believe you're going to reek, you're worthy of this award.
• Militant
  • You love the fight. Be a warrior to get this award.
    • This award is given to members who have proven capable of physically or verbally destroying someone in a physical or cyber fight.
      • Achieve this award by being in the military or defense forces in real life, or by 'pwning' people on the forums using strong, sharp, and harsh comments.
• Rich Bitch
  • Show me da money to gain this award.
    • This award is given to members who donate a large sum of money to ItzBoosted.net.
      • Achieve this by donating $50 to the ItzBoosted.net community.
• Star
  • You're well known.
    • This award is given to well known members, who everyone seems to know. Usually, this award is given to members who have been here for a while.
      • You can get this one by sticking around at ItzBoosted.net for a long period of time, all the while making your presence known.
• Legend
  • Your a legend in the boosted community. Well Known.
• Gold Medal
  • If you over achieve you gain this medal.
    • This award is given to members who consistently prove themselves high quality. People who are down-to Earth and often contribute quality material will earn this.
      • You can get this by showing the above traits. Become a high quality member, and keep doing what you're doing, basically.
• Gamer
  • For the love of Mario.
    • Given to members who are proven game junkies. People who spend unhealthy hours on games are likely to get this one.
      • To get this, you must talk games, walk games, and, well, I don't know? Just play a lot of games, I guess...
• Cool
  • Show us you're not a tool and be cool.
    • This one's given out for a number of reasons, but it's mostly acquired by being a cool-headed member.
      • You must be cool to get this. If you are not cool, at least try to act as though you are.
• DaBomb
  • You gotta be down with me (Adam) to get this one.
    • This award is given to people who I personally think are cool. This award is given to people who don't look to impress, but manage to do it effortlessly.
      • To get this one, earn my respect. Don't be an ass kisser, but remain cool and do the right things.
• Dancing Queen
  • You're a very interesting individual... wow.
• Silver Medal
  • You have done something noteworthy.
    • As the title says, do something outstanding to achieve this award. It may be a group you created, an idea you had, or a principle you invoked.
      • Achieve this by consistently producing the goods. Or perhaps you get this one by doing ItzBoosted.net one massive favor?
• Bronze Tutorial Award
  • Earn this by posting a great original tutorial.
    • Self-explanatory. Post useful guides/tutorials on ItzBoosted.net!
      • You can earn this award by posting a quality, original, and/or helpful/informative tutorial/guide/series/whatever.
• Golden Upload
  • For adding an amazing video to the IBN Video Directory, we give you a gold bar.
    • For creating a quality, original video and distributing it on ItzBoosted.net. Usually, these members will be recognized for their video talent.
• Jokester
  • Gotta make us laugh to get this one.
    • Members who can produce the 'lolz' are worthy of achieving this award.
      • To get this one, post witty comments and/or posts and become recognized as a humorous character.
• Donator
  • You have donated to ItzBoosted.net.
    • This award is given to members who donate $10 to ItzBoosted.net.
• Mad Scientist
  • Intelligence and the ability to perform something entirely custom.
    • Having knowledge in custom fabrications or design.
• Innovative
  • Earn this by helping IBN with an incredible idea.
    • Members who help develop ItzBoosted.net by providing quality feedback and those who are able to concoct funky ideas for the site will get this one.
• Sapphire of Boost
  • This is for upgrading to a Lifetime Membership and to signify your status.
    • Members in the IBN Lifetime user group achieve this award automatically.
• Support Feather
  • Supporting our members with issues and answering questions.
    • Show your knowledgeable and eager to help.
• Grammar Nazi
  • You must have excellent grammar in your posts to achieve this award.
    • Rather self-explanatory also. Members will be given this award if they're grammar is of a notably high standard.
      • Proofread everything you post! Make sure there's no grammatical errors in your threads and make quality contributions if you want a chance of getting this one!
• Master Donator
  • This award is for members who have donated at least $500 to ItzBoosted.net. Member upgrades and purchases on IBN Merchandise does not count.
    • To get this one, members will need to make a whopping $500 donation to the site.
      • You heard me right. Fork out $500 and you'll get this highly prestigious award, along with eternal love from Adam.

Why Haven't I Got An Award?

Awards aren't given out very often. Only truly deserving members are selected. Remain patient. There's only two people on ItzBoosted.net who can give awards, and yet there seems to be Tons of people wanting them. Keep doing your thing and eventually, you'll get noticed.
