I've had em all. 2 88 Civics, G60 Corrado, 2 88 16v Sciroccos, 82 8v Scirocco, 1979 16v PL Scirocco Storm, 1987 E30 318 BMW, 1988 E30 325i, 2003 E46 M3 SMG, 92 DSM, and a 2003 Evolution 8.

As far as playing with the car RWD is the way to go. E brake sliding in a FWD is a freakin blast! I think chassis structure makes a huge difference in a car for drive train. That can definitely make or break your decision for sure. My vw's had more oversteer than understeer. The M3 was such an awesome car and I honestly liked it more than my Evo for many other reasons. But... after getting an AWD car, there is nothing like being able to push it in the twisties and the feeling of being safe. If I'm a pussy for not wanting to wreck my car so be it. I don't ever want to go back to fwd. In auto x awd with a nice rear dif and rwd for the win! My first mod will be a $350 Shep trans rear LSD for the evo Power oversteer all day

I prefer FWD for everyday driving.
I prefer RWD for "spirited" driving.
I prefer AWD for playing in the mud, gravel, and snow.

and if AWD is so superior how come in drag racing...on the track...and basically all other motor sports besides rally and ice racing or any other inclimate sport that is NOT ran in ohio........AWD doesnt hold a candle to RWD....

GP and F1 class cars..... RWD...

time attack/scca... sadly time attack splits them up alot of the time.. and in scca apparently FWD wins 80=90% of the races.

drag racing....... i dont have to dive to deep into this but i still havent seen a AWD be any where near streetable to even keep up with a 10.5 outlaw rwd car that i know are weekend warriors that get hard miles put on them almost every weekend.

thats because it is......it takes way less skill to understeer through a corner than it is to finesse a rwd car.

thats pretty funny because ive heard cody pull this excuse out of his ass multiple times..

no need to on RWD either... i see more subarus and evos with rolled fenders trying to get bigger tires in there wheel wells than RWD cars... we fit them with stock fenders.. no rolling.. no cutting.. and only 10 in wide.

I've seen a lot of awd time attack cars win many many many races. For example Roger Clark. I don't want to do the research on all the racers that own in time attack but this is one of them. He drives an AWD Subaru.
